From the Adriatic Sea to the Itria Valley
Self-guided bike tour - 8 Days/ 7 Nights
This self-guided bike tour offers you a fantastic opportunity to explore the region at your own pace and immerse yourself in its natural beauty, historical sites, and local culture. Monopoli will amaze you with its historic center, its beautiful beaches, and the picturesque harbor. Along the way you will meet the medieval village of Conversano which will fascinate you with its Norman towers and palaces, but first make a stop in the bluest city of Puglia: Polignano a Mare. The city that will make you sing "volare oh oh", it is right there that the singer-songwriter Domenico Modugno was born. The tour continues to Alberobello, a Unesco site since 1996, but before reaching it you can admire a hidden wonder: the caves of Castellana. Reservation is required! And from there you will enter the heart of the Valle d'Itria, discovering fascinating villages such as Locorotondo, a village of circular beauty, and then you will visit the noble town of Martina Franca. You can admire Ostuni, the white city with a tour loop. Before ending the tour, stop at the Archaeological Park of Egnazia, where it is still possible to admire a small stretch of the Via Appia! And then headed to Monopoli.
